I. First conversation
We talk about your ideas, your colours and your event venue to define the perfect mood together.
II. Design & Sketch
I create a sketch of your future decoration to help you picture the volume and colour harmony.
III. Booking & Preparation
Once the quote is approved and the deposit is paid, your date is reserved. I then begin creating your decorations.
IV. Setup on the day
I handle the complete setup at your venue. All you have to do is enjoy the party!
Frequently asked questions
How long does a balloon arch or garland last?
It all depends on the location! Indoors (in a living room or an air-conditioned venue), our professional organic balloon decorations can stay intact for several weeks, even several months. Outdoors, the balloons are exposed to the elements (sun, wind, humidity): the latex tends to turn matte and the display will keep its optimal shine for 1 to 3 days.
How do you attach the garlands? Will you damage my walls?
Rest assured, we take extreme care of your interiors! We mostly use our own free-standing structures (metal hoops, panels, grids) that require no attachment. If we do need to fix an organic garland to a wall, a staircase or a bay window, we use specific temporary adhesive hooks or gentle fasteners that leave absolutely no marks or damage.
Are your balloons environmentally friendly?
This is a strong commitment at Jakalila. We use exclusively professional-grade balloons made from 100% natural, biodegradable latex (they are not plastic). They break down naturally, at the same rate as an oak leaf. (Note: we do not, however, endorse balloon releases, which remain harmful to nature).
Can you create precise colours to match my theme?
Yes, that’s what sets professional decoration apart! If you want an exact shade (a dusty rose, a slate blue, a perfect nude), we use the “double stuffing” technique. This means slipping one balloon inside another before inflating them to create a fully custom, completely opaque colour for a very luxurious result.
Do you set up and take down the equipment yourselves?
Our service is turnkey. We come and install the entire decoration at your event venue (in Luxembourg, in Moselle such as Thionville or Metz, and in Meurthe-et-Moselle towards Nancy or Longwy). If your setup includes rented structures (metal arches, sequin walls, neon signs), we agree together on a time slot after the party to take them down and collect them.
How do you calculate the price of a balloon decoration?
The price is not calculated “per balloon” but depends on the overall volume, the complexity of the design and the length of the garland (usually measured per metre). It also varies according to the added elements (dried flowers, foliage, chrome or personalised balloons) and the rented structures. That’s why we create a custom quote for every project!
